Define Traveling and Its Meaning
Travel is the conveyance of people between different, remote geographical locations. Travel can be accomplished by car, plane, train, bicycle, foot, bus, boat, bicycle or any other means of transportation, and is one way or another touring. There are two basic types of travel: Business travel and Personal/Intimate Travel. Within each category there are subtypes: Corporate/Business Travel, which includes visits to business locations for meetings or to present products/services; and Personal/Intimate Travel, which includes visits to family locations for vacations, picnics, outdoor events, nightlife or to socialize.
To put it simply, business travel is the outward movement of goods or services from one place to another. A typical business itinerary would include travelling to an off-site facility for meetings, training or product introduction. On your way out you may encounter local restaurants or shops, or take a leisurely walk through a city or town – all of which are typical of business travel. On your return journey you may make one stop and then journey onwards, carrying a number of things from one place to another.
Now let us consider some of the most common questions asked by travellers, when trying to define travel meaning and concepts. Frequently, travellers ask: “Will I find what I am looking for when travelling?” This question is important because it indicates how much research the traveler has carried out in order to reach his or her destination. In addition, the answer to this question also indicates the purpose of the travel. The aim of a tourist is to experience a new culture, to explore other sites of the world or to simply relax and let go.
