Travel Destination Preferences
In general, there are two main types of travel destination preferences: Destination Orientation and Destination Proposals. The first type refers to the general direction in which one wants to travel. This can also be applied to where one wants to go on vacation and generally for purposes of making travel plans. For instance, if you were interested in visiting a particular European city such as Paris, where the Eiffel Tower is located, your destination orientations may include various ways to get to that city.
The second type of destination preference refers to a destination’s specific attractions. It is the destination where one wants to spend the bulk of their time. This can include museums, art galleries, historical sites, and other similar locations. It can encompass entire countries, or it can be just a section of that country.
There are several ways to plan for a destination. One can plan ahead with a travel agency, which can often save money and offer better advice. The other option is to simply put together a “to do” list of what you hope to see while traveling and then arrange your travel accordingly. Some people prefer to plan on their own and then simply execute their plan. Whatever you choose, make sure that you enjoy your destination!
